Hello friends and family!
Mari is planning to attend an “Art is Love” retreat in Oregon, which starts on April 22. The organizer of this retreat, Carrie Schmitt, sent me the following email, asking me if I would help organize some support for Mari:
We have a special surprise for each guest, and I need your help to make this special. (Please keep this a secret.) Please reach out to her friends and family and ask them to send a letter of love and encouragement to her. This can be a letter that lifts her up, shares a special memory, or tells her how much she means to you. The purpose is to make her feel loved and to make sure she knows how wonderful she is. This is the highlight of the retreat experience, and it is important that your friend feel loved and included.

I will not be opening the letters ahead of time. They will be given to your friend at a special time during the retreat. Please put her name on the envelope so I know who the letter is for. SSHHHHHH…..THIS IS A SECRET. Do not tell your friend. This is KEY. If you have any questions, please contact me via email or my cell 206-512-0082.
If you feel called to participate, please be sure to get your letters in the postbox by April 10 as Carrie suggests in her letter. And please accept my thanks – this is going to be very meaningful to her, I can feel it. — Keith
